FOSTER FAMILY SERVICE requires each certified adult to maintain twelve (12) hours of training each calendar year, as well as current certification in both CPR and 1st Aide. Of the twelve hours of annual training, eight (8) must be in “core” areas including but not necessarily limited to: personal rights, licensing regulations, positive discipline, the CPS system, child development, and special needs of foster children.
